Weekend Getaway: Sharing Some Healthy Options

Visiting Tagaytay over the weekend was made even more exciting because of the fruit season that started to reign on the sidewalks of the place. We were actually looking for some unripe Jackfruit, unfortunately, all of the stalls only have ripe ones and ready for eating. We ended up buying our miscellaneous cravings (peanuts, papaya, corn etc...)

If I made the trip earlier, I might have written my previous article project about fruits even more exciting and less of a struggle, however, the trip still made me appreciate more of them and the interesting way they were all displayed in just one place.

Fruit aficionados may want to check out the place for an exciting fruit escapade, with a chance to haggle for prices if you're in a budget or you just want to take the opportunity to save and still get the freshest out of them.

The fun part was smelling their sweet, ripe fragrance. My gastronomical life perked up! :D

I wonder what its like to live in a place where the freshest of all natural food is at the tip of your fingers.. what would be your reason not to cook or prepare a hearty meal?

On our way down from Tagaytay and near the Nuvali area, we saw lines of corn vendors. You can buy the corns raw or cooked. For only P100 you can take home 5 pieces of these large fresh corns, and if you're lucky, a good deal with a vendor will give 6 pieces / P100. (fair enough) :D

I don't think it would be a violation to drive while... eating???
